
The Google For NonProfits program is now available to organizations in Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Those which apply successfully get access to Google ad grants (giving them an allocation of free AdWords to promote their website), “premium” branding opportunities in YouTube, and customized versions of the Google Apps productivity suite — including Gmail, Calendar and Docs.
There is also the option of free licensing of the Google Earth Pro and Maps API for business users, and organizations can tap into One Today by Google, the internet giant’s fundraising platform.
Earlier this week, the U.S. firm revealed plans to expand its datacenter in Singapore as part of an ongoing initiative to boost its server capacity in Asia.
